Project Management Jobs

This position performs management, planning, organization, leading, and controlling the activities of a group of technical specialists in support of one or more application or technical support areas of moderate to high complexity and scope. This position ensures delivery of work to schedule, within budget and to customer satisfaction. Functions as an advisor to team regarding tasks, projects, and operations and becomes actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or resolve complex problems. Assignments are received in task and objective oriented terms and work reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Requirement to work as Project Manager only can act as an Assistant Project Manager or as decided by the management. The main responsibilities are as follow:

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

· Define internal and external project management processes for the project.

· Understand the scope of the effort in terms of requirements or functionality points

· With the help of the relevant Team Lead, determines scope and evaluate risks

· With the help of the relevant Team Lead, define project parameters, i.e., time-lines, manpower, risks, estimates, etc.

· Negotiate, establish, coordinate and oversee the projects deliverables

· Identify internal and external interfaces

· Prepare the Project Plan.

· With the help of the Software Development Manager and Team Leads staff the project.

· Monitor the Project, staffing plans, budgets, and minutes of meetings.

· Use the issue log process for resolution and management of critical issues

· Single point of contact for the Client, as such coordinates with the clients and user community

· Communicate with client any feedback or discoveries that come from the Project TL.

· Act as the ”client” for the local development team

· Synchronize efforts in quality assurance of user documents

· Synchronize efforts in preparation of shipment package

· Ensure timely delivery of client deliverables

· Get feedback from the client

· Communicate with the client about next release

· Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Director Offshore Software Services

· Bachelors in Computer Sciences from HEC recognized university. Preference will be given to PMP certified individuals.

· Leadership: Must have the focus, confidence, charisma, and authority to drive the technical effort

· Minimum Five year Experience of Project Management in an IT company.

· Experience in building similar systems

Working Knowledge of AD, Exchange 2010, UC and ISA
Experience of SQL Server 2005 and 2008
Responsible for proactive monitoring, supporting and reporting of platforms
Troubleshooting and problem resolution of SharePoint platform issues
